"There was plenty to learn" - Johan Ghazali says recent setback only made him hungrier to reach full potential

17-year-old prodigy Johan Ghazali is eager to bounce back into the winning column after learning some tough lessons from his last fight in ONE Championship.

Losing a bout to someone as highly regarded as Nguyen Tran Duy Nhat was an important experience for 'Jojo'. It's certainly a great opportunity to change a few goals in how one is used to training.

Thankfully, Ghazali has the mental maturity to look past his defeat and focus on developing his strengths before his next bout.

And although he won't linger on his defeat, there is now a blemish on his perfect Muay Thai record that Ghazali doesn't want to see expanding. He is, therefore, fired up to make something happen again on the world's biggest stage:

"There was plenty to learn from that last fight," he told ONE. "And that defeat against Nguyen is only making me more pumped up to perform better."
