“There are questions that need to be answered” - Liam Harrison eager to see how he’d fare against Katsuki Kitano

Veteran British striker Liam Harrison is out to get a resounding victory in his long-awaited return to action next week to answer, among other things, the myriad of questions he has had while away from competition.

'Hitman' will hit the ONE Championship Circle once again after nearly two years because of injury at ONE 167: Tawanchai vs Nattawut on June 7 at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand. He will going up against Japanese Katsuki Kitano in a bantamweight Muay Thai battle.

It will mark the first time Liam Harrison is competing since injuring his knee in the opening round of his title clash against then-ONE bantamweight Muay Thai king Nong-O Hama in August 2022.

Speaking to ONE Championship ahead of his scheduled return, the 38-year-old Leeds native shared his expectations for ONE 167, saying:

"There are questions that need to be answered. Like am I going to come back as vicious? Will I still have that knockout power? And I'm going to answer those questions with a resounding yes."

Prior to getting hurt and absorbing a TKO loss to Nong-O, Liam Harrison chalked up back-to-back victories both by way of knockout.

Looking to spoil his return at ONE 167 is Kitano, who was a unanimous decision winner in his ONE debut back in October against Dutch fighter Halil Kutukcu.

ONE 167 will be available live and for free in U.S. primetime to North American fans with an active Amazon Prime Video subscription.

The Bad Company standout will return from nearly two years on the sidelines because of a knee injury at ONE 167: Tawanchai vs Nattawut on June 7 in Bangkok, Thailand.

To express how excited he is of his comeback, he took to Instagram earlier this month and shared highlights of his ONE championship matches and how he is taking cue from them when he takes the Circle once again against Japanese Katsuki Kitano at ONE 167.

He captioned the post with:

"An agent of chaos ... win lose or draw you know exactly what you're getting. Cant wait to showcase it again next month in Bangkok."
