“There will be no cr*p” - Jacob Smith says no to cheeseburgers during hard fight camp

Third-ranked ONE flyweight Muay Thai contender Jacob Smith of the United Kingdom is ready to do whatever it takes to achieve victory over 'The Iron Man' Rodtang Jitmuangnon when the two run it back in a couple of weeks' time.

And that means even saying no to a big juicy cheeseburger, one of his favorite things to eat ever.

Speaking to Cageside Press in a recent interview, Smith talked about making small sacrifices in a big training camp to make a difference.

The 32-year-old Bad Company / Thaifist product said:

"Of course I do mate, of course! Let’s say, eight weeks pre-fight, there will be no cr*p. But look, I know what I’m doing, I make weight every single time, never missed weight once my whole career - never."

Smith added:

"I perform very very good in training. I’ve kinda figured out what works for me, in terms of diet."

Needless to say, Smith expects to come into the rematch with Rodtang at his absolute best, and with no stone left unturned in his preparations.

He believes this fight is hands down the most important of his career, and he's pulling out all the necessary stops to be successful.
