"These guys are gonna dominate" - Fans want a proper sequel of Tye Ruotolo and Jozef Chen's grappling masterpiece

ONE welterweight submission grappling world champion Tye Ruotolo and BJJ prodigy Jozef Chen delivered a stellar matchup in the lone submission grappling bout of ONE Fight Night 23, and fans are craving a rematch.

Chen, who claimed first place at the 2023 ADCC European Trials, matched up well with the American star in the early going but Ruotolo demonstrated an aggression fans had never before seen, which led to his unanimous decision victory.

After producing an intense 10-minute chess match, fans shared their hopes of a rematch between Ruotolo and Chen sometime soon in the comments section:

Tye Ruotolo predicts he will rematch Jozef Chen in the near future

With Ruotolo having improved his ONE record to an unblemished 7-0, the Atos Jiu-Jitsu product can see him taking on Chen again.

In an interview with the South China Morning Post, Tye Ruotolo said:

"He's 19 years old, he's real young, so am I, you know, we're both climbing the ranks together. So yeah, I'm excited to get... I'm stoked to get the win. It's the first one on the record. I'm sure we're going to have a lot more scraps in the future."
