“They’ll go the three rounds” - Suablack envisions a tight war between Superlek and Kongthoranee

Thai standout Suablack Tor Pran49 expects a tight war between 'The Kicking Machine' Superlek and streaking sensation Kongthoranee Sor Sommai at ONE Friday Fights 68 on Friday, June 28.

Emanating from the legendary Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, ONE Championship's latest pay-per-view offering will feature a loaded lineup, including a ONE strawweight kickboxing world title clash between Prajancha and Jonathan Di Bella.

But first, fight fans will see ONE flyweight kickboxing king Superlek return to the CIrcle for a showdown with one of the promotion's most exciting prospects—Kongthoranee.

Speaking with the South China Morning Post, Suablack, who will also compete at ONE Friday Fights 68, shared his thoughts on the co-main event showdown between Superlek and Kongthoranee, suggesting that the two warriors will likely go the full three rounds.

"I think for the match between Kongthoranee and Superlek, there is a chance that they’ll go the three rounds because though I feel Superlek has all the upper hand and advantages, he has more experience, and he looks more comfortable in this flyweight, and he has a higher chance of winning, I think Kongthoranee also has a lot of motivation to win this fight. He’s just coming in with determination," he said.

Suablack looks to steal some of the spotlight on Superlek vs. Kongthoranee

While fights like Superlek vs. Kongthoranee and Prajanchai vs. Di Bella have been dominating the headlines, ONE Friday Fights 68 will feature a series of can't-miss matchups, one being Suablack's battle with undefeated Russian standout Kiamran Nabati.

Sitting 6-0 under the ONE Championship banner, Suablack has looked undeniably impressive since making his promotional debut last year with wins over the likes of Craig Coakley, Stefan Korodi, and Vladimir Kuzman. In his six wins, Suablack has scored four highlight-reel knockouts for a 67% finish rate.

Standing in his way of a seventh-straight win will be Nabati who brings with him an incredible 20-0 record with two of those wins coming inside the Circle.

Who will extend their streak when two of ONE's most exciting newcomers battle it out on martial arts' biggest global stage?
