“They’re getting all these Thai killers” - Joe Rogan lauds how ONE attracts the world’s best strikers
UFC commentator Joe Rogan has always been an observer of all aspects of combat sports. Although his name is synonymous with mixed martial arts, his turning his sights on the striking world, especially Muay Thai.
Rogan has been very positive with ONE Championship on what they're doing in the striking world, including how the promotion brought Rodtang Jitmuangnon into fame.
Recently, on a recent episode of the JRE MMA Show with UFC superstar and former kickboxer Israel Adesanya, where he mentioned ONE as the main attraction for the world's best strikers.
The stand-up comedian said:
"Everybody loves stand-up fights. You’re gonna get a lot of KOs because no one can grapple. You can’t grapple. So you’re gonna get people that are forced to stand up and you could then attract the greatest strikers in the world like ONE is doing."
He added:
"They’re getting all these Thai killers, you know, these Rodtangs, all these elite Thai fighters, and they’re all coming over and they’re fighting in the cage now."
