"They're talking about monkey diseases already" - Paulo Costa foresees sinister-end to 2024 as U.S. presidential election nears
Paulo Costa has just taken to X/Twitter to offer his thoughts on the U.S. presidential elections this year. In fact, 'Borrachinha' is already anticipating some sort of harrowing global event, which he believes will, in some form, be tied to the 2024 presidential race between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump.
Furthermore, Costa also touched on the world's geopolitics, referencing the Israel-Hamas war, as well as the Russia-Ukraine war.
He even mentioned the recent Monkeypox epidemic, implying that the year may end in a fashion similar to 2020, which was defined by the COVID-19 pandemic.
"If u ask me I think something very bad is going to happen... I just feel it. This 2024 is election year in USA, the political and financial most important country in the world and I remember what just happened in 2020 right? They're talking about monkey diseases already, what's look very bad on my opinion, Russia/Ukraine war, Israel/Hamas and maybe Heabolah and Iran gonna be in. Brics going hard on their plan... what do u think?"
While Costa has often been known for the outlandish humor he shares on social media, the one-time UFC middleweight title challenger has grown increasingly political. His fears about the end of 2024 mirroring the end of 2020 are also rooted in the Brazilian's past actions.
In 2022, he was alleged to have physically assaulted a nurse after reportedly refusing a COVID-19 vaccination and attempting to leave the premises with a filled-out vaccination card. However, no charges were filed and nothing else came of the incident.
Paulo Costa made previous comments on American politics
Paulo Costa retweeted a short clip of United States president Joe Biden and vice president Kamala Harris. He took the opportunity to take a jab at the U.S. president's age, claiming that the Democratic Party had attempted to diffuse concern over it.
"It's weird how they just pushed Grandpapa Biden aside as an inconvenience and useless, which is always obvious but now they make it clear."
However, as Costa points out, Biden's age was eventually addressed. He framed the observation that the general public had made long before the party's decision to call for Biden's withdrawal from the 2024 presidential race.
