"They were settling something" - Fans love the back-and-forth brutality of Jonathan Haggerty's world title win over Sam-A
Two-sport ONE bantamweight world champion Jonathan Haggerty is already seen by many as one of the best British fighters of his generation. It was his second fight in ONE Championship back in May 2019 that catapulted him into stardom.
'The General' had an electric war with flyweight Muay Thai world champion Sam-A Gaiyanghadao that saw the former win via unanimous decision.
The highlights of their clash were recently posted on ONE's Instagram:
Fans were in awe at both men's great fighting spirit and sounded off in the comments section. They wrote:

Jonathan Haggerty warns ONE 168 foe from overlooking him
The 27-year-old will put his bantamweight Muay Thai world title on the line at ONE 168: Denver on September 6 against flyweight kickboxing world titlist Superlek Kiatmoo9.
Many might not know that their upcoming contest inside the Ball Arena in Denver will be their second meeting, with their 2018 clash under Yokkao having been won by 'The Kicking Machine' via TKO due to a doctor's stoppage.
With six years between then and now, Jonathan Haggerty discouraged Superlek from thinking this would be an easy fight.
He told Sky Sports:
"Now's the time for revenge. I'm glad it's come, we're both at our peak, and we're both in the best organization in the world."
Tickets for ONE 168: Denver are available via Ticketmaster.
