Joe Rogan has a "harsh" solution for climate change activists vandalizing famous paintings

UFC color commentator Joe Rogan recently addressed the increasing instances of iconic paintings being vandalized by environmental activists.

There has been a rise in cases of climate change activists attempting to destroy famous pieces of art as a way to protest against climate change.

In a recent incident, two protesters reportedly poured tomato soup across one of Vincent Van Gogh’s sunflower paintings, and immediately glued their hands to the wall. Another case reported a girl gluing her head to Johannes Vermeer's famous painting Girl With a Pearl Earring.

These protesters have justified their actions by arguing that people are more concerned about paintings than about the raging issue of environmental degradation that is on the rise.

"We are in a climate catastrophe. And all you are afraid of is tomato soup or mashed potatoes on a painting."

In a recent edition of the Joe Rogan Experience podcast, host Joe Rogan, along with American writer and comedian Bridget Phetasy, discussed the ongoing acts of painting vandalism by protesters.

Rogan spoke against the radical actions of the activists and attributed the incidents as a "symbol of this TikTok generation." According to the podcaster, the protestors are attempting to gain attention by exerting the bare minimum of effort.

Putting forth his opinion on the incident, the podcast host said:

"They should start hacking arms off. That would stop that...It's so f**king dumb...It's a symbol of this TikTok generation. It's a symptom of all this nonsense you are seeing constantly online. These people, they are trying to get attention with the least amount of work possible."

Joe Rogan talks about Elon Musk's successful takeover of Twitter

In the same episode of his popular podcast show, UFC color commentator Joe Rogan, along with guest Bridget Phetasy, discussed Elon Musk finally taking over as the CEO of Twitter.

Giving his opinion on the successful closure, Rogan believes the Tesla CEO will eventually build up the space for a "reasonable exchange of ideas":

"That's the best...What Elon wants to bring back to Twitter is reasonable exchange of ideas...But it's just rare that someone is that wealthy that they can do that and he was very left-leaning for most of his life until really recently. The pandemic in particular and the way people have sort of enforced these ideologies regardless of whether or not the science supports it. He thinks it's bad and I think it's true."
