"They want to put him in jail for a long f*cking time" - Joe Rogan claims 34 felony charges on Donald Trump are allegedly mere "bookkeeping errors"

Joe Rogan recently voiced his opinion about the 34 felony charges that were pressed against Donald Trump in April 2023. Rogan hosted the founder of 'Ways 2 Well' clinics, Brigham Buhler, for Episode 2208 of his podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience (JRE).

The two talked about a plethora of issues, including a discussion about the upcoming 2024 US presidential elections. Rogan highlighted what adversities Donald Trump had to face as the price of his presidential campaign, which also included two assassination attempts. He also laid stress on how some allegedly want to put Trump in jail by upgrading minor legal issues to felony charges.

"The 34 counts [of felony charges on Trump], which were not felonies, which they upgraded from a misdemeanor, which passed the statute of limitations, all of them were bookkeeping errors or mislabeling things which are illegal. They are minor offences that would not get anyone prosecuted, much less put him in fu**ing jail. And people want to put him in jail. They want to put him in jail for a long fu**ing time, and it’s crazy."

Joe Rogan has his reasons for not having Donald Trump as a guest on JRE

Joe Rogan's commentary about the 34 felony charges against Trump was pretty much in the ex-POTUS's favor. However, despite selectively backing Trump on certain issues, the 57-year-old has refrained from having him on the hot seat of his podcast.

Rogan has his reasons for it, which he once detailed:

"I don't want anybody to be uncomfortable... If I'm talking to someone like him [Donald Trump], there are some uncomfortable things that have to be addressed."
