Three of the best flyweight combat sports athletes have shared a legendary training session, as ONE flyweight submission grappling world champion Mikey Musumeci, ONE flyweight MMA world champion Mikey Musumeci, and former UFC flyweight world champion Brandon Moreno were spotted together.

In a recent photo that Musumeci posted on his Instagram account, he revealed that he had a workout with both Johnson and Moreno, as he captioned the post:

It was a legendary moment for the three of them because they were able to share valuable lessons that would certainly sharpen their skills, especially in terms of grappling.

Mikey Musumeci is the top choice among fans in upcoming world title fight with Kade Ruotolo

Ahead of champion-versus-champion clash with ONE lightweight submission grappling king Kade Ruotolo at ONE 168: Denver on Sept. 6, where he will challenge Ruotolo for the 26-pound golden belt, ONE Championship asked the fans who they think would win through a recent poll on Instagram story.

The results showed that 'Darth Rigatoni' is the fans' choice, with 63% of the votes favoring him to make history and become the first-ever athlete in the world's largest martial arts organization to win two submission grappling world titles in two different weight classes.

Currently, the Evolve MMA representative is riding four straight submission victories, which date back to May 2023.

ONE 168: Denver will transpire at the Ball Arena during the U.S. primetime on Sept. 6. Tickets for the event are available on Ticketmaster.
