"This fight about to be sick" - Fans already expecting a Fight of the Year banger between Superlek and Jonathan Haggerty in Denver

ONE Championship fans are predicting an absolute barnburner at ONE 168: Denver on Sept. 6 inside the Ball Arena, when ONE bantamweight Muay Thai and kickboxing world champion Jonathan Haggerty defends his Muay Thai crown against ONE flyweight kickboxing world champion Superlek Kiatmoo9.

With ONE 168 only a few weeks away, the promotion recently shared a reel on Instagram featuring the two stars.

Fans shared their expectations for their upcoming bout in the comments section:

"Easily gonna be one of the top fights of the year 🔥"
"This fight is about to be siiiick!!!!"
"I'm so pumped, can't wait to be there."
"Got my tickets!!!"
"Either way this goes, it'll be an amazing match to watch.🔥🔥"

There is a history between 'The General' and Superlek. In 2018, 'The Kicking Machine' defeated Haggerty via TKO due to a doctor's stoppage during their time outside of ONE, and 'The General' has been calling for a rematch ever since.

Poetically, the British star and Thai hero made their way to ONE a year later and gave fans plenty of world-class performances between their combined 22 wins.

With the added stakes of 26 pounds of bantamweight Muay Thai gold hanging in the balance at ONE 168, Haggerty and Superlek's rematch could become a Fight of the Year candidate.

Jonathan Haggerty promises all-out war in Superlek redo at ONE 168

Speaking with Sports Illustrated, the 27-year-old said:

"This is going to be an exciting fight, and fans are going to enjoy my style. It's going to be an all-out war."
