"Throws better punches than Ilia Topuria" - Fans react as Max Holloway's wife Alessa Quizon drops training video, pens heartfelt message for 'Blessed'
Max Holloway's wife, Alessa Quizon, recently posted a training video accompanied by a thoughtful reflection on their relationship. 'Blessed' is set to take on reigning featherweight champion Ilia Topuria this weekend in the main event of UFC 308 at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Ahead of the bout, Quizon took to Instagram to share a video of herself hitting the mitts with Holloway. She expressed how this time together helps her relieve stress and strengthen her bond with her husband, particularly during his fight camp. She wrote:
"What I prefer instead of flowers, lol. When Max can take some time out to hold mitts for me, he may not know it, but when I ask if he can hold mitts, it’s probably because I need to blow off some steam, especially when he’s in fight camp. It motivates me to be like him, lol. This is our type of bonding time, and it’s a time where he finally gets to teach me something."
