Hailing from a small community in Siberia where resources for the youth were limited, Malykhin, through the help of meeting the right people, kicked off his career in mixed martial arts.
Now, after achieving monumental success as a middleweight, heavyweight, and light heavyweight ONE world champion, Malykhin realizes the importance and benefits of sharing his story with his community to inspire them to achieve their dreams.
Speaking to ONE, he said:
"If God gave you opportunities that other people don't have, you need to share these opportunities with the rest of the world, to bring good and do good deeds."
Malykhin looks forward to extending his legacy as a rare triple-world champion with another exciting world title defense on November 8.
