"Total domination" - Fans in pure awe of Anissa Meksen's savage knockout of Cristina Morales in ONE Championship debut

French-Algerian icon Anissa Meksen introduced herself to ONE Championship fans by dominating Spanish standout Cristina Morales at ONE: Empower in September 2021. 'C18' dropped the ISKA Atomweight K-1 world champion late in the second round with a meteoric left hook.

Though Morales got to her feet, referee Olivier Coste waved off the bout as the Team Jesus Cabello product was in no condition to continue.

Meksen extended her winning streak to three with dominant decision wins over Marie Ruumet and Dangkongfah Banchamek in April and October 2022, respectively.

However, she suffered her first loss under the ONE banner when she fought Phetjeeja Lukjaoporongtom for the ONE interim atomweight kickboxing world championship at ONE Friday Fights 46.


Anissa Meksen set for second shot at ONE Championship gold at ONE 169

Anissa Meksen will have her second opportunity at becoming a ONE world champion by winning the inaugural ONE women's strawweight kickboxing world championship at ONE 169: Malykhin vs. 'Reug Reug' on Nov. 8 inside the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

Her opponent will be Filipino-American Muay Thai standout Jackie Buntan, who is coming off a near-perfect decision victory over four-time ISKA Kickboxing world champion Martine Michieletto this past March.

ONE 169 will air live and free to all Prime Video subscribers in the United States and Canada.
