Tristan Tate hails Romanian Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu's decision to "boycott" Paris Olympics' closing ceremony
Tristan Tate, the younger brother of polarizing influencer Andrew Tate, has expressed staunch opinions about the ongoing 2024 Paris Olympics. He was among the leading voices denouncing the opening ceremony, which was criticized for disrespecting religious beliefs.
Several political figures, internet sensations, celebrities, and sporting icons expressed disappointment over a frame featuring drag queens and dancers lined across a long table. Netizens connected the moment with Leonardo da Vinci’s “The Last Supper” portrait of Jesus Christ and his 12 apostles.
The controversy extended further after the inclusion of Algeria's Imane Khelif and Taiwan's Lin Yu-ting, who were disqualified from the 2023 Boxing World Championships after a sex chromosome test ruled both of them ineligible.
However, it's important to note that the test was conducted by the International Boxing Association (IBA) and the International Olympic Committee (IOC) has asserted that the IBA is a discredited organization and claimed that the tests were ordered on arbitrary grounds.
Most recently, Romanian Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu announced that he would boycott the closing ceremony of the Paris Olympics. His statement came in as a protest of the controversial scoring decision in the women's gymnastics floor final that saw Ana Barbosu lose out on capturing the bronze medal.

Tate took to X to react to the news of Ciolacu reportedly boycotting the closing ceremony of the Paris Olympics and hailed the decision as a "correct" one:
"Correct decision by @CiolacuMarcel to boycott the Olympic closing ceremony. The whole event has been shameful from day one."

Tristan Tate reacts to Ana Barbosu losing medal after Jordan Chiles' score change
Romania's Ana Barbosu had already begun celebrating her bronze for the women's gymnastics floor event. However, the American team coaches entered an appeal to the judges over Jordan Chiles' score.
The inquiry resulted in a 0.1 boost for Chiles. Barbosu was celebrating before she noticed on the scoreboard that she would not be on the winners’ podium. She was instantly reduced to tears while her coaches tried to console her.
Several prominent figures reacted to the judging error that overshadowed the final event. Tristan Tate took to X to react strongly to the situation, writing:
"They cheated this poor Romanian girl out of her bronze medal so they could have an all-black winners podium. Close-up video shows no foul was committed. This is racism and theft. One of my now 100 problems with this Olympic Games."
