Tristan Tate praises Dmitry Bivol's performance and questions how Artur Beterbiev won their fight: "Cleaner work came from Bivol"

Tristan Tate was impressed by the recently concluded undisputed light heavyweight title fight between Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol. But despite lauding both boxers, 'The Talisman' also questioned the judge's decision, which saw Beterbiev take the title home.

Bivol suffered the first loss of his professional boxing career in the undisputed title fight against Beterbiev. Currently, he holds a record of 23-1, while his rival maintained his undefeated record, which now stands at 21-0.

The fight showcased an intense battle with both men refusing to leave even an inch of ground. However, Bivol increased his pressure and landed several significant shots in the third round. On the contrary, the fifth round showcased Beterbiev pushing forward with his combinations and making his rival retreat.

In the end, the three judges scored the bout 114-114, 115-113, and 116-112 in favor of Beterbiev, awarding him the undisputed light heavyweight championship.

But Tate opined that the 33-year-old Russian was the better boxer that night. He also appreciated Bivol's "clean" work apart from refusing to agree with the judge's decision.

"Cleaner work came from @bivol_d throughout the fight. Amazing fight and credit to both men, but I thought Bivol won by two rounds."

Ryan Gracia sides with Tristan Tate regarding results of Artur Beterbiev vs. Dmitry Bivol

Tristan Tate isn't the only one who refused to accept Artur Beterbiev as the winner of the undisputed light heavyweight title fight against Dmitry Bivol. The noted boxer, Ryan Garcia, also took to X to criticize the judge's decision to rule the fight in favor of Beterbiev.

But unlike Tate, Garcia chose to be a lot more nonchalant in his approach. His tweet read:

"Wow robbery if you ask me"

'KingRy' also found support for his opinion about the results from other boxers as well, including Tony Harrison and Edgar Berlanga.
