Marlon Vera was the first to respond, aiming a potshot at Henry Cejudo:
"Less than sh*tjudo."
This sparked a response from 'Triple C,' who claimed that Vera resembles a background cast member from the action-adventure game series Grand Theft Auto (GTA):
"Cheeto the only thing worse than your shit-talking is the Giant Pussy tattoo on the back of your skull. You and Ronald MethDonald look like extras out of Grand Theft Auto: Fremont Street."
Needless to say, Vera responded:
"Lol you lil co*ks**ker shut up and go to your room and do dumb as fu*k breakdowns."
Aljamain Sterling, the bantanweight champion, was the last to chime in with a hint of humblebrag:
"With or without all the gold on?"
If this recent exchange is any indication of how the bantamweight division in UFC is going to be, then fans are in for a terrific 2023.

Sean O'Malley points out one advantage that Marlon Vera might have in upcoming clash against Cory Sandhagen
Marlon Vera defeated Sean O'Malley via TKO at UFC 252. Due to this, 'Sugar' has unfinished business with Vera and has always kept a close tab on the Ecuadorian in an effort to avenge his sole loss in mixed martial arts.
Both combatants have come a long way since that clash. At UFC 280, Sean O'Malley defeated Petr Yan, the former 135-pound champion, by split decision and is currently ranked No.1 in the division. Vera, on the other hand, is on a four-fight winning streak and has emerged as one of the division's most promising prospects.
Marlon Vera's next assignment is booked against Cory Sandhagen, which will go down on February 18, 2023, at the UFC Apex Center.
Weighing in on the fight on his YouTube channel, O'Malley cited the smaller cage in the Apex facility as an advantage for Vera:
“The only difference is the cage, the small cage. Apex doesn’t have a big cage and it makes zero sense. The big cage is what? 40 percent bigger than the small cage? Like, quite a bit, significantly bigger. That plays a role. I think it gives ‘Chito’ a pretty big advantage. I don’t know if advantage is the right word, but a disadvantage, rather, for Cory.”
