Two-sport king Jonathan Haggerty still not calling it quits in pursuit of Fabricio Andrade's MMA crown

Two-sport ONE world champion Jonathan Haggerty's desire to add a third world title in as many disciplines is still very much his main objective on the global stage.

More specifically, the Knowlesy Academy and Team Underground affiliate wants to run it back with Fabricio Andrade, this time for for his ONE bantamweight MMA world championship.

Speaking to The Sporting News recently, the 27-year-old Londoner offered:

"If I had to choose, it would be Fabricio for my MMA debut."

The British striker attained the division's vacant kickboxing crown by finishing the Brazilian slugger in the second round of their main event clash at ONE Fight Night 16 in November last year.

Jonathan Haggerty's punching power shut down 'Wonder Boy's' attacks, and a final right hand on the money saw him attain two-sport glory inside the Lumpinee Stadium.

Immediately after the showdown, 'The General' called out Andrade for his MMA gold. However, nothing materialized as the bantamweight MMA kingpin suffered an injury that kept him out of action.

With Andrade back to full fitness, these two superstars could be on a collision course down the line.

Before that, though, the Englishman will have his hands full as he defends his Muay Thai crown against arguably the toughest test of his career at ONE 168: Denver on September 6.

Jonathan Haggerty is confident he can maintain his winning ways vs. Superlek

Jonathan Haggerty heads into his main event world title tilt against Superlek Kiatmoo9 inside Denver's Ball Arena on a six-match win streak, including three back-to-back knockouts against Nong-O Hama, Andrade, and Felipe Lobo.

And he remains sure as ever to carry on his positive momentum against the red-hot striker, who's won his last ten on the trot inside the ONE Circle.

In an interview with Sky Sports, Haggerty noted:

"When I first fought with him, I probably had about 13 fights. Now, I've got the experience, I've got both the belts, and I believe I will stop him. I will beat him for sure."
