Tyson Fury gives immediate ring-side reaction to Anthony Joshua getting knocked out by Daniel Dubois
Tyson Fury recently expressed his thoughts on Anthony Joshua's knockout loss against Daniel Dubois, giving Dubois credit for his performance.
Joshua faced Dubois for the IBF heavyweight title this past Saturday at Wembley Stadium. The 34-year-old entered the fight with a second-round knockout victory over former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou earlier this year. Meanwhile, Dubois was coming off a TKO win against Filip Hrgovic.
Joshua was the clear favorite going into the contest, but Dubois quickly proved himself by throwing strong punches and controlling the opening exchanges. Joshua could not hold off Dubois' continuous attack and was sent to the ground by a huge overhand right at the end of the opening round.
In the fifth round, Joshua appeared to startle Dubois with a hard right hand. However, as they exchanged, Dubois delivered a stunning counter right hook that knocked Joshua out.

Fury, who attended the event, praised Dubois following the fight:
''Fantastic job. [Dubois] did a very good job and fair play to young Dan. Everybody wrote him off, coming here, he was the world champion, and everyone chatted like he was a b*m. And he showed what he's made of. And it's very good for him. Fantastic. Fair play.''
When asked about Joshua's performance, Fury said:
''Listen, it's heavyweight boxing, it happens... happened to me, it can happen to anybody.''

As for Fury, he suffered a split-decision loss against Oleksandr Usyk in a title unification bout earlier this year. Their highly anticipated rematch is set to take place on Dec. 21 in Saudi Arabia.
