UFC 310: Alexandre Pantoja vs. Kai Asakura: Main card, start time, main event walkouts, and more

UFC 310 is booked to be headlined by a highly anticipated UFC flyweight title showdown between Brazil's Alexandre Pantoja and Japan's Kai Asakura. It'll go down at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Dec. 7.

Initially, UFC 310 was to be headlined by UFC welterweight champion Belal Muhammad defending his title against undefeated Kazakh fighter Shavkat Rakhmonov. However, Muhammad pulled out due to a bone infection in his left foot.

Subsequently, the promotion roped in unbeaten Irishman Ian Machado Garry to face former training partner Rakhmonov. Their welterweight title eliminator co-headlines the event.

Additionally, the card boasts several other exciting matchups, including the rematch between returning heavyweight elites Ciryl Gane and Alexander Volkov. Former UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman and former UFC bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling will also grace the octagon.

The long-awaited welterweight clash between Vicente Luque and MMA legend Nick Diaz was rescheduled to transpire at UFC 310. However, Diaz recently withdrew and Luque will face Themba Gorimbo instead.

Also, heavyweight Rizvan Kuniev was to fight Martin Buday but the latter was taken off the card due to injury. The UFC's official website has officially confirmed those card changes.
