UFC 310: Ciryl Gane vs. Alexander Volkov: Live round-by-round updates
A heavyweight showdown between Ciryl Gane and Alexander Volkov will serve as one of the main card bouts at UFC 310 later this evening at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Despite an underwhelming showing against Jon Jones in their UFC 285 title matchup, Gane (12-2 ) is still considered one of the finest talents at heavyweight. The Frenchman is a prolific striker, with razor-sharp precision and perhaps, more importantly, fast and fluid footwork, which is a rare trait in heavier weight classes.
'Bon Gamin' already boasts a unanimous decision win against Volkov, in addition to victories against popular names including Derrick Lewis and Tai Tuivasa.
In the other half of the event, Volkov (38-10) is on a four-fight win streak most recently clinching a unanimous decision over the dangerous Sergei Pavlovich. The 36-year-old is also a prolific finisher with 24 knockouts and 4 submissions to his name.
Gane will head into the event as a -345 favorite, with 'Drago' as a +275 underdog. The main card of UFC 310 is now live. Stick with Sportskeeda for live coverage and play-by-play updates from the fight card.
