UFC bonus for 'Fight of the Night' set to fund one-eyed Sharabutdin Magomedov's "penthouse dream"
Sharabutdin Magomedov has now secured back-to-back performance bonuses, with his clash at UFC Abu Dhabi on Aug. 3, being awarded the Fight of the Night. He faced off against the hard-hitting Michal Oleksiejczuk on the main card, with Magomedov securing a unanimous decision victory. With this result, 'Shara Bullet' extended his overall record to 14-0, and is now 3-0 inside the UFC.
Following his victory over Oleksiejczuk, the undefeated middleweight contender appeared in front of the media. He was informed that he had been awarded a $50,000 performance bonus, and was asked if he had anything specific he would use the money on.
Magomedov shed light on his dream to buy a penthouse apartment, and will be using the UFC's performance bonus to help realize his dream. The 30-year old said:
"Thank you to the UFC, this is great news. I have a dream to buy a penthouse apartment on top of a building somewhere. So hopefully this will be some money that I can put away to make my dream come true."

Sharabutdin Magomedov elaborates on callout of Nick Diaz
Sharabutdin Magomedov secured his third victory inside the hallowed octagon after defeating Michal Oleksiejczuk via decision at UFC Abu Dhabi.
The bout was a back-and-forth striking affair, with 'Shara Bullet' showcasing his patented kicking-heavy style whilst his opponent's crisp boxing skills were on full display.
The Dagestani was awarded a unanimous decision win, and was interviewed in the octagon following the bout where he called out MMA legend Nick Diaz. He was initially set to feature on UFC Abu Dhabi against Vicente Luque, but the bout was canceled.
The 30-year old said:
"I'm happy I won today... I callout Nick Diaz, Nick Diaz let's go fight! You're a striker, I'm a striker. You're old, I'm a young fighter, let's go. It's a very interesting fight."

Magomedov and Oleksiejczuk replaced Diaz vs. Luque as the co-main event, and following his victory at in Abu Dhabi, 'Shara Bullet' appeared in front of the media where he discussed his callout of Diaz.
He said:
"I'd love a big name, somebody with a big name. Somebody who's ready to fight me in October... We'll see what the UFC prepares for me, but I'd like to have somebody big." [4:18-4:30 in his post-fight press conference]
