UFC champion backs Michael Chandler to "get it done" over Conor McGregor in upcoming clash
UFC bantamweight king Aljamain Sterling has shared his opinion on the upcoming clash between Michael Chandler and Irish superstar Conor McGregor.
In a video uploaded to his YouTube channel, 'Funk Master' showered praise on Chandler and claimed that 'Iron' has all the necessary tools required to become a UFC champion.
Giving his prediction for the fight, Sterling said that if Chandler focuses on outclassing 'The Notorious' instead of just receiving a big payday, he could get his hand raised at the end of the night:
“You have a guy like Chandler, who can hit like ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson and at the same time wrestles his a** off, if needed… Michael Chandler had ‘shows’ in the past. If that Chandler shows up, this is Conor’s fight to lose… If Chandler comes in game-ready… And not just make a red-panty night payday, I think he goes out there and gets it done over Conor McGregor,” said Aljamain Sterling.

Conor McGregor is all set to appear in the upcoming season of The Ultimate Fighter. The Irishman will take up the coaching role against Michael Chandler. Later, the two athletes will face off in the UFC octagon.
'The Notorious' has been out of action since July 2021 due to a gruesome leg injury. So, McGregor will surely attract attention from all over the world and possibly make his return fight the biggest UFC event of the year.
UFC fighter Gilbert Burns gives his prediction for Conor McGregor vs. Michael Chandler
UFC welterweight and former title challenger Gilbert Burns has also made his pick for the upcoming clash between Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler.
Burns, who is Chandler's friend and teammate, admitted the fight will be a tough task for 'Iron'. But 'Durinho' is hoping for Chandler to knock the Irishman out in their scrap.
He said on Submission Radio:
“I think it’s a tough fight for Michael [Chandler]. I don’t think it’s an easy fight but I hope Michael knock him out very bad. I never hope that to no one, you know, but I hope Michael gets a good win, you know. I don’t want to wish nothing bad for Conor, it is what it is... But I just hope Michael wins and I’m going to do everything in my power to help Michael to get the victory and I hope Michael gets the finish, you know.”
