UFC commentator Jon Anik admits to getting asked about legendary soccer manager Pep Guardiola "a lot"

UFC commentator Jon Anik has shared how people often ask him about popular soccer manager Pep Guardiola.

It all started when SportsCenter uploaded a video to their X account that featured the renowned head coach smoking a cigar and enjoying the Oasis songs playing the background.

Check out the clip below:

Anik, whose face resembles that of the 53-year-old, took notice of the post and responded by saying that the person in the video was not him:

"Not a backwood. And not me!"

The UFC commentator then added that he was aware that it was Guardiola in the clip and shared that he often gets confused with him by the public:

"Well aware of who he is! I get asked about him a lot..."

Jon Anik speaks about similarities between Dricus du Plessis and Conor McGregor

UFC commentator Jon Anik recently drew parallels between middleweight champion Dricus du Plessis and Irish superstar Conor McGregor.

Du Plessis recently locked horns aganst Israel Adesanya for the 185-pound belt at UFC 305. The event was held on Aug. 17 at the RAC Arena in Perth, Australia.

During fight week, the two headliners were part of a press conference where 'Stillknocks' seemingly got under Adesanya's skin with his comments and made 'The Last Stylebender' emotional.

After the presser, Anik spoke to Mike Bohn of MMA Junkie and reflected on the moment. He made a comparison between the trash-talking skills of the South African and those of Irish superstar Conor McGregor.

According to Anik, du Plessis and McGregor both have an ability to mentally affect their opponents with their words in the lead-up to fights:

"Not unlike Conor McGregor, there's nothing really scripted. Certainly there's pre-thought, but he's just orating naturally and you're right, he's effectively egetting under the skin of high-level elite opponents that maybe shouldn't be taking that sort of bait."

Du Plessis went on to successfully defend his title as he defeated Adesanya via rear-naked choke in the fourth round of the fight.
