UFC cutman hits back after fan calls him out for allegedly 'glazing' a "drug cheat" like Jon Jones

Jon Jones is all set to play the role of a Navy Seal in the upcoming film 'Edo’s Crossing.' Previously, Jones was featured in the Netflix series 'La Cage.'

ESPN MMA announced Jones' Hollywood debut on Instagram with a post, alongside clips of other MMA fighters who have appeared in films, including Conor McGregor, Kamaru Usman, and Donald Cerrone.

Professional UFC cutman Brad Tate replied to the post with a gif of a gentleman holding an Oscar.

User @micah_freeman_ took a dig at Tate, thinking he was praising 'Bones,' and wrote:

"@that_damn_tate you glaze a wife beating drug cheat constantly"

Jones is one of the best UFC fighters, but he has also been involved in drug testing disputes and other legal issues outside of the octagon.

The cutman responded to the comment and wrote:

"did your swipe and see that there are other mma fighters in this post? I guess not to busy being perfect. Merry Christmas"

Jon Jones’s legal issues outside the octagon

On May 19, 2012, Jon Jones had his driving license suspended after he crashed into a pole and injured two NY women.

At the UFC 178 faceoff with Daniel Cormier, Cormier pushed Jones, after which 'Bones' retaliated and charged at his opponent, pushing staff down the stage. After this infamous incident, the fighter was fined $50,000 by the Nevada State Athletic Commission and also sentenced to 40 hours of community service.

In January 2015, he tested positive for cocaine after which he entered rehab. In April 2015, he was arrested for a hit and run. In the years that followed, 'Bones' was involved in a number of additional legal difficulties, including failed drug tests and assault.
