UFC cutman shares five-word reaction looking back at the time Alexander Volkov had his hair combed by his corner in-between rounds

Alexander Volkov’s UFC Saudi Arabia performance garnered attention for his dominant win over Sergei Pavlovich and a mid-fight moment involving his corner combing his hair. Volkov, who grew his hair longer than usual for the bout, brought a stylist to ensure his vision remained unobstructed during the fight.

Volkov explained that growing his hair out required him to include a stylist in his corner team. The effort paid off as he kept his vision clear and outperformed Pavlovich by securing a unanimous decision win.

ESPN MMA's Instagram handle recently shared the video of Volov getting his hair styled between rounds. The post ignited a response from UFC cutman Brad Tate, who wrote:

"Man, we can do it all."

The fight also saw tensions between the two Russian heavyweights. Pavlovich refused a post-fight handshake and exchanged heated words, prompting Volkov to speculate about a misunderstanding. Volkov suggested that Pavlovich might have incorrectly perceived that he initiated their matchup and dismissed any personal grudge.

Volkov also highlighted his role in Pavlovich’s success, recalling how his team helped train Pavlovich for critical fights, including his victory over Derrick Lewis. He expressed disappointment in the lack of gratitude but refrained from escalating the matter further.
