UFC Embedded catches behind-the-scenes footage of Sean O’Malley’s hilarious walk-off diss to Henry Cejudo
Sean O'Malley is preparing to defend his bantamweight title against Merab Dvalishvili in the main event of Noche UFC 306 on Sept. 14. The bout is less than a week away, and the reigning bantamweight champion has begun fulfilling his media obligations to help promote the fight.
He recently made an appearance on the Pound 4 Pound podcast hosted by Kamaru Usman and Henry Cejudo, where the bantamweight champion had a short message for both co-hosts before leaving the interview.
The 29-year old praised Usman's career and accomplishments, but poked fun at Cejudo for being taken down by Aljamain Sterling, who O'Malley defeated to win the 135-pound title at UFC 292. After making a jibe at Cejudo, O'Malley abruptly left the interview.
Behind-the-scenes footage of the incident was captured by the UFC's Embedded team.

Henry Cejudo claims that Sean O'Malley is struggling with grappling ahead of Noche UFC 306
Sean O'Malley will take on elite wrestler Merab Dvalishvili in the main event of Noche UFC 306 on Sept. 14. The 29-year old proved himself capable of defeating the division's best grapplers after knocking out Aljamain Sterling at UFC 292 to win the bantamweight title.
'Sugar' successfully stuffed several takedown attempts from Sterling in Round 1 before landing a sharp right hand in Round 2 that was the beginning of the end for his opponent.
The bantamweight champion will now defend the title against Sterling's longtime friend and teammate in Merab Dvalishvili.
According to Henry Cejudo, the reigning 135 pound champion could be in for a long night against Dvalishvili's grappling. He claimed that he had been told that O'Malley has struggled to get up from bottom position in training.
In a recent episode of the Pound 4 Pound podcast, he said:
"I know a little bit of O'Malley's fight camp and how it's been going... He doesn't know how to get off of bottom [position], he's having trouble. I've had three training partners [of O'Malley] that's gone out there, that have all told me the same s**t."
