UFC Fight Tonight: Is there a UFC card on Saturday, November 9, 2024?

The UFC is headed to the APEX Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Saturday, Nov. 9, 2024 (U.S. time) for its upcoming card, UFC Fight Night: Magny vs. Prates (also known as UFC Vegas 100 and UFC Fight Night 247).

Headlining the UFC Vegas 100 card will be a welterweight showdown between the No.15-ranked Neil Magny and Carlos Prates.

Magny has alternated losses and wins across his last seven trips to the octagon. 'The Haitian Sensation' kicked off 2024 with a technical knockout win over Mike Malott at UFC 297 in January. However, he succumbed to a TKO loss in the subsequent outing against Michael Morales last time out in August.

The New Yorker hasn't suffered back-to-back defeats since 2013 and will be determined to get his hand raised this Saturday.

Prates, meanwhile, is riding a 10-fight win streak into this fight. The Brazilian earned his UFC contract with a TKO victory over Mitch Ramirez at Dana White's Contender Series in August 2023. Prates followed that up with three consecutive knockouts this year with this latest triumph coming over Jingliang Li at UFC 305.

Ricky Turcios will also feature on Saturday's UFC Vegas 100 card as he takes on Benardo Sopaj in the co-main event.

Turcios is 4-2 in his last six outings and is looking to rebound from his submission defeat to Raul Rosas Jr. in June. Sopaj, on the other hand, will be seeking his first UFC victory after getting viciously knocked out by Vinicius Oliveira in his promotional debut earlier this year.

In another intriguing matchup, Gerald Meerschaert will square off against Reinier De Ridder in a battle of middleweights.

Also on the UFC main card, No.13-ranked women's strawweight Luana Pinheiro will take on Gillian Robertson, who is positioned just behind at No.14.
