UFC fighter Colby Covington enjoys college football game with former President Donald Trump and others in star-studded celebrity box

Colby Covington was recently in the company of former United States president Donald Trump at a college football game. Following a presidential rally in Wisconsin, Trump turned up at Bryant-Denny Stadium at the University of Alabama to watch the Alabama Crimson Tide take on the Georgia Bulldogs.

Upon his arrival, Trump was drowned out in a chorus of support. He was not, however, alone. Besides Covington, who is among the former president's most ardent supporters, American musician Kid Rock was also present, with all three men enjoying the game from a secure box.

The game ended on a positive note for the Alabama Crimson Tide, with a 41-34 win over their Georgian foes.

Upon capturing the interim welterweight title in a bout with former lightweight kingpin Rafael dos Anjos at UFC 225, 'Chaos' took his belt to the White House.

There, he presented his newly minted title to Trump, taking part in a photo-op with the then American president. Covington's allegiance to Trump has remained ironclad since, with the fighter even using it as an excuse for his loss to Leon Edwards at UFC 296, claiming that the judges did not want to crown a Trump supporter as champion.

Colby Covington and Donald Trump have also played golf together

Colby Covington and Donald Trump have a positive relationship, with 'Chaos' having a great deal of admiration for the former president. The two men have even played golf on various occasions, once following the ex-interim champion's interview with ESPN's Brett Okamoto.

Covington commemorated the moment by snapping a picture of himself standing alongside Trump, with both men dressed in classic golfing attire.
