UFC fighters give their picks for Leon Edwards vs. Kamaru Usman 3
UFC fighters have given their predictions for the upcoming trilogy bout between Kamaru Usman and Leon Edwards.
On March 18, Usman and Edwards will fight for a third time to determine who is the best welterweight on the planet. Despite winning the last time out, ‘Rocky’ is being underestimated by a majority of the MMA community. On the MMA Pros Picks video posted by James Lynch, fighters gave their opinion on a few big fights. Here are some of the responses for the UFC 286 main event:
“I think Leon Edwards is gonna take that one again. I think he is better than Usman - Jack Della Maddalena”
“I think Usman will get him again. He was beating him for 24 minutes… - Eryk Anders”
“Kamaru Usman. You see the fight, of course, Edwards won, congratulations to him, but four and a half rounds Usman won. Push him very hard, so I would put my money on Usman. - Jan Blachowicz”
“... That was a magical moment, but I don’t think lightning is gonna strike twice. I think Kamaru Usman was winning that fight and I think when they fight again, he’s gonna pick up where he left off. - Bryan Battle”
Lynch only posted part one, but the results told a bigger story. The votes were 11 to 2 for Usman, with Jack Della Maddalena and Randy Brown being the only ones to back Edwards. The betting odds are similar to the fighters’ predictions, with ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ being a sizeable favorite.

Similar results were expected in their second fight at UFC 278, but ‘Rocky’ had different plans.
