UFC lightweight contender claims "amateur" Paddy Pimblett "doesn't have the skills" to fight him

Paddy Pimblett has been called an "amateur" fighter by Bobby Green in a recent interview. 'The Baddy' is fresh off a controversial win against Jared Gordon at UFC 282, and fans are questioning his abilities as a fighter. In an interview with Discovery Plus, Green berated Pimblett and said that it would be disrespectful if the UFC asked him to fight the Liverpudlian.

Green is currently preparing for his fight against Drew Dober in the UFC Fight Night: Cannonier vs. Strickland card on December 17 live from the UFC Apex Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. Here's what he had to say when asked if he would fight Pimblett next:

"It would actually be kind of like a disrespect if they put him in there with me. I'd have to get rid of him really fast because it'd be disrespectful if we were in the same cage. He doesn't belong there. Actually, I think he's an amateur fighter, he's not even a professional, he's an amateur. Of course I would take it, I would take easy money, but at the same time, it wouldn't do anything for my brand if I did it."

Paddy Pimblett is currently recovering from his last fight, where he sustained injuries to his leg and hand. He has not announced a return date yet and is currently focused on getting back to full fitness. If Bobby Green manages to win his next fight, he may get to challenge 'The Baddy.'

Fans roast Paddy Pimblett in the comments after he learns an interesting fact about toasters

Paddy Pimblett reacted to a TikTok clip that stated the number on the toaster shows the minutes it takes to toast and not the level to which it toasts the bread. Pimblett was dumbfounded when he learned the fact and said he thought it denoted the "toastiness" of the bread. Fans did not treat the Liverpudlian kindly, especially after his latest controversial victory. One fan wrote:

"How many years will it take you to learn that you actually lost that fight mate"

Another fan commented:

"Yeah but you lost that fight"

One fan poked fun at 'The Baddy:

"Haha yeah same. 30-27 Gordon though"

Paddy Pimblett still firmly believes he won the fight against Jared Gordon, even after admitting that it was not his best fight in the UFC. The Liverpudlian gave Gordon his dues, commending his toughness in the ring, but believes he did enough to win.
