UFC lightweight wants to disprove Paddy Pimblett's bold claim by knocking out 'The Baddy' in London
UFC lightweight prospect Grant Dawson wants to lock horns with Paddy Pimblett.
In a recent Q&A session with Millions.co, 'KGD' called out lightweight contender Paddy Pimblett. Dawson claimed that he is ready to fight 'The Baddy' on his home turf in London at UFC 286.
Expressing his interest in taking on the Liverpudlian, the 28-year-old said:
"I would love to fight against Paddy. We are asking for that fight in London, March 18th. I will go to his home turf to fight him, and to prove that Scousers get knocked out."

'The Baddy' last fought Jared Gordon in a lightweight matchup at UFC 282. The Scouser secured a decision win over his opponent, thus maintaining his unbeaten streak in the promotion. However, the fight was fraught with controversy, with many claiming that the result was a robbery.
Meanwhile, Dawson recently faced Mark O. Madsen at UFC Fight Night: Rodriguez vs. Lemos. 'KGD' defeated Madsen via a third-round submission with a rear-naked choke. The 28-year-old is currently on an eight-fight unbeaten streak in the promotion and holds a pro-MMA record of 19 wins and one loss.
Paddy Pimblett reveals his toughest test in the UFC so far
In a recent conversation with fellow British fighter Tom Aspinall, Paddy Pimblett, a UFC lightweight competitor, named his toughest opponent in the UFC octagon so far.
'Baddy' feels his debut fight against Luigi Vendramini was by far his toughest fight. Revealing his reasons for claiming the Brazilian to be his toughest fight, the Scouser said:
"See my two [fight] didn't [age well]. They both got cut immediately... Lad, I'll be honest. I think my first fight was my toughest fight. Luigi Vendramini. He was very good, lad. But, he didn't catch a break, lad, because he was already 1-2 going into that [fight against me]. One he lost a majority decision and the other one he took at welterweight on short notice, you know what I mean?"
