UFC middleweight advises Terrance McKinney to stop mentioning popular MMA YouTuber
Chris Curtis offers advice to Terrance McKinney about avoiding drama with fans.
McKinney, a UFC fighter with the fastest knockout in lightweight history, has been arguing with a content creator named The MMA Guru. The YouTuber has 79.2K subscribers for his videos discussing MMA news and results, which often leads to profanity-laced rants.
The MMA Guru recently made a video aggressively insulting Merab Dvalishvili. McKinney wasn’t happy with the comments made, leading to him responding by saying:
“The MMA guru guy is lame af he always has been and this video is the nail in his coffin for me”
Several days later, McKinney started getting accused of trying to get The MMA Guru’s address to post it online and potentially cause harm. The UFC lightweight denied the allegations on Twitter by saying:
“I’ve seen ppl sayin I tried to dox Guru lol I didn’t even know what that was til this morning. It wasn’t me that said that so tell your buddy to rest easy ain’t nobody tryin to pull up on him or share his secrets online."
The situation continued escalating, with fans and fighters chiming in about who was in the wrong. Curtis, a UFC middleweight, responded to McKinney’s denial of doxxing by saying:
“Lmao nobody gives a fuck about a fad dude in a shed. Lol stop mentioning this dude and let him fade into obscurity and die nameless"
Fans react to Terrance McKinney denying the doxxing accusations
Terrance McKinney’s response to the doxxing accusations seemed to make things worse. Screenshots are spreading around social media that allegedly show the UFC lightweight asking for The MMA Guru’s address, which 'T.Wrecks' claims is not him. Once the Chicago native denied any wrongdoing, fans filled the comment section, including some saying:
“... we saw you in chat lol and the account linked to your youtube account LMAO”
“He said he has screenshots of you asking people for his address.”
“He’s just mad because he lost his rent money. Don’t let the children both you man."
"Now he never going to leave his shed thanks to you”
“Terrance take a break please you’re losing your fan base”
Terrance McKinney made his UFC debut in June 2021, defeating Matt Frevola with a 7-second knockout that shocked the MMA community. He followed up his electrifying performance with another first-round finish against Fares Ziam. Since then, ‘T.Wrecks’ has lost to Drew Dober, won against Erick Gonzalez, and suffered a brutal knockout loss against Ismael Bonfim last time out.
