UFC Rankings Update: Massive shuffle in P4P list after Francis Ngannou's exit, Max Holloway re-enters
Following Francis Ngannou's departure from the UFC, the promotion's pound-for-pound rankings underwent a massive reshuffle. Former featherweight champion Max Holloway has re-entered the top 15 as part of the most recent update.
Holloway, who was last seen inside the octagon in his third fight against Alexander Volkanovski at UFC 276, occupies the No.13 spot on the list below Jon Jones, who moved up one spot. Jones is set to mark his return to the octagon against Ciryl Gane at UFC 285. Needless to say, Ngannou has been removed from the rankings.
Check out the updates below (via @jedigoodman on Twitter):
Former UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya, who dropped his title to rival Alex Pereira at UFC 281, jumped up one spot and now takes the No.5 spot now. Meanwhile, Pereira is ranked seventh on the list.
In the women's pound-for-pound rankings, former bantamweight queen Holly Holm jumped two spots to occupy the tenth position. Taila Santos, who put on a determined performance against undisputed flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko at UFC 275, climbed one spot to No.12.
In the men's flyweight division, Jeffrey Molina and Muhammad Mokaev have swapped positions for the thirteenth and fourteenth spots respectively. UFC veteran Rafael dos Anjos climbed up one spot to the No.8 position, while Arman Tsarukyan dropped to the ninth spot. Women's bantamweight contender Ketlen Vieira leapfrogged three spots and now occupies the second position.

Cris Cyborg congratulates Francis Ngannou for making it "to the list"
Francis Ngannou is now officially free to pursue opportunities outside of the UFC since the organization did not grant the Cameroonian the flexibility to pursue boxing matches, which were part of his negotiating demands.
According to Dana White, the UFC offered 'The Predator' multiple lucrative contracts that would have made him the highest-paid heavyweight fighter in UFC history. The promotion has also aimed to perpetuate the narrative that Ngannou left the UFC to pursue easier fights outside the promotion.
Several UFC fighters have defended Francis Ngannou and blamed the UFC for tarnishing fighters' reputations when negotiations fail.
Cris Cyborg, the former UFC women's featherweight champion who left the organization in 2019, detected a pattern in White's attitude while reacting to Francis Ngannou's departure. She provided substantial evidence to further support her claims on Twitter and wrote:
"Congrats @francis_ngannou on making it to 'the list"
