UFC star Chris Curtis reacts to Alex Jones crying on camera over losing 'Infowars' as court orders liquidation to pay school shooting victims
Chris Curtis recently reacted to Alex Jones breaking down on camera after losing 'Infowars' when a court ruling mandated the liquidation of his assets to compensate the families of the Sandy Hook Elementary school shooting victims.
A U.S. bankruptcy court ordered on Tuesday that Jones' media empire be fully auctioned off starting next month, allowing the famous conspiracy theorist to begin making payments to the families of the 2012 Newtown, Connecticut school shooting victims as part of a $1.5 billion settlement.
The diverse assets of 'Infowars', including its social media handles, copyrighted content, and trademarks under its parent company, Free Speech Systems, will be dissolved by November. Meanwhile, other items, such as studio equipment, will be auctioned off in a separate sale at a later date.
During a recent episode of The Alex Jones Show, the 50-year-old political commentator was overcome with emotion as he tearfully addressed the court's decision to sell off his company.
UFC middleweight Curtis recently took to X and reacted to the now-viral clips of Jones sobbing on the live show:
"Small signs that the Universe is trying to correct this timeline."
The two lawsuits against Jones were filed by the families of victims of the tragic December 2012 incident, where a shooter killed 20 children under the age of 10 and six school staff members. Jones had consistently labeled the massacre as a hoax orchestrated by authorities to push for stricter gun control laws.
When did Chris Curtis last compete?
Chris Curtis hasn't stepped into the octagon since his narrow split-decision loss to Brendan Allen in their short-notice rematch, which headlined UFC Vegas 90 this past April.
In that fight, 'Action Man' suffered a torn hamstring during the final round and had to be stretchered out of the arena as he was unable to stand on his own.
Curtis was slated to square off against Kevin Holland at UFC 307 on Oct. 5 but was forced to pull out of the fight after suffering a leg fracture during training camp. Curtis currently holds a UFC record of 5-3 with one no contest.
