UFC star Sean Strickland is done with Vin Diesel-starrer 'Fast and Furious' movies - "Let this die"

UFC middleweight Sean Strickland seems to have had enough of Vin Diesel's Fast and Furious movies.

The Fast and Furious franchise recently released its 11th installment, Fast X. While diehard fans continue to support the franchise since its first installment in 2001, many have grown weary of the long-running series and Sean Strickland is one of them.

The UFC middleweight recently took to Twitter and asked if anybody was still watching Fast and Furious movies. He wrote:

"Who is still watching fast and the furious?!?! Let this die...Also the irony in Paul Walkers death never really hit me till now........ My god.... lmao! Too fast too furious.."

Sean Strickland's coach believes 'Tarzan' can shock Israel Adesanya

Sean Strickland and Israel Adesanya have had their fair share of back-and-forths, with the most notable encounter coming at the UFC 276 press conference. While the two seem unlikely to fight anytime soon, Strickland's coach Eric Nicksick of Xtreme Couture MMA believes 'Tarzan' is capable of upsetting the UFC middleweight champion.

Previewing a potential fight between Strickland and Adesanya in an interview with Submission Radio, Nicksick said:

"It's a tough fight for Sean, and we understand that. I've had a game plan against Israel when he fought Brad Tavares. There were mistakes that we made and it wasn't underestimating him by any means. There were just some logistical mistakes that we made. And I learned so much from that fight with Israel."

He added:

"Surprisingly, Sean is very technical and he's very bright when it comes to the game. We're really going to have to be on our Ps and Qs if we ever get that Israel fight and really understand it, because I have a pretty good idea of what Israel's approach would be in attacking us, and you know we're going to have to be on our Ps and Qs when we fight a guy like that."

Israel Adesanya's next opponent is unknown at the moment. The winner of UFC 290's Robert Whittaker vs. Dricus du Plessis bout has been promised a title shot, but with Dana White recently teasing an announcement for Adesanya's next fight, it remains to be seen what is in store for 'The Last Stylebender'.

He is expected to fight at UFC 293 in Sydney, Australia, in September. Meanwhile, Sean Strickland will look to defend his No.7 spot in the rankings when he takes on unranked middleweight Abus Nurmagomedov in July.

Sean Strickland welcomes Abus Magomedov to the main event scene this summer. 👀
