UFC Vegas 100: Neil Magny vs. Carlos Prates: Full video highlights

When Magny tried another takedown, Prates resisted and landed a short jab. Moments later, he dropped Magny with a brutal elbow, again letting him stand rather than engaging in a prolonged grappling exchange.

Prates kept up his aggressive approach, refusing to give Magny any breathing room. As the fight wore on, he caught his opponent off guard with a powerful left hand, putting Magny’s lights out at the 4:50 mark of Round 1.

The knockout sealed Prates’ fourth straight UFC finish, adding to his already impressive record and propelling him towards a likely spot in the Top 15 of the welterweight rankings.

This victory was Prates' fourth finish since joining the UFC and the second consecutive knockout of a veteran, following his recent win over Li Jingliang.

With an 11-fight win streak and a flawless start in the UFC, the Brazilian is now poised to climb higher in the rankings, positioning himself as a serious threat among the welterweight elite.
