UFC Vegas 100 winner aims harsh words at Michael Bisping's commentary after quick victory: "He doesn’t know how to grapple"
UFC middleweight contender Tresean Gore fired back at Michael Bisping’s live commentary criticism at UFC Vegas 100 after his swift submission victory over Antonio Trocoli.
As soon as the fight began, Gore charged in to secure an early takedown. As Trocoli scrambled to his feet, Gore quickly transitioned into a headlock, which he smoothly converted into a high-elbow guillotine choke. Despite Trocoli's attempts to defend, he couldn’t escape the submission, forcing the tap in just 83 seconds into the first round.
During the fight, Bisping questioned Gore’s grappling technique moments before he secured the guillotine choke against Trocoli. Gore didn’t hold back on his reaction to Bisping’s remarks at the post-fight press conference and said:
“Man, Bisping literally always does that. I don’t know why, everything I do is untechnical and wrong. Last time I got that choke on that guy, [Josh Fremd], he was like ‘Oh man, it’s good! But it’s super untechnical!’ Was that untechnical? Because I literally just got the same choke in a row."
Gore added:
"If he says that’s not technical, then he doesn’t know how to grapple. But I respect him, he’s a former champion, and I look forward to becoming a champion myself one day.”
