UFC Vegas 99: Anthony Hernandez vs. Michel Pereira: Full video highlights

The main event of UFC Vegas 99 featured a five-round middleweight showdown between Anthony Hernandez and Michel Pereira. The event was held on Oct. 19 at the UFC Apex facility in Enterprise, Nevada.

Hernandez entered the fight on a five-fight win streak that included victories over names like Roman Kopylov and Edmen Shahbazyan. Pereira, on the other hand, was undefeated in his last eight UFC outings prior to UFC Vegas 99.

Pereira started on an impressive note as he landed a flurry of strikes on Hernandez in the opening minute of the fight. 'Fluffy' bounced back later in the round to inflict damage on Pereira.

Hernandez used his grappling prowess to dominate the Brazilian in the second round.

As the fight progressed, 'Fluffy' continued to outclass his opponent.

Hernandez finished the fight in the fifth round with a knockout.
