UFC veteran comments on Ryan Garcia's racist remarks about Sneako: "In the middle of a manic episode"

The latest in the string of Ryan Garcia's seemingly odd behavior includes a frantic rant on streamer Nicolas aka Sneako. During a recent X-space session, the young pugilist tried to shame the streamer's faith, making several disparaging remarks about Islam.

However, UFC veteran Jake Shields believes 'KingRy' should be given a pass for his recent comments, since he was not himself at the moment.

Trigger Warning: this piece reports hate speech. Reader discretion is advised.

During the infamous X-space session, Garcia went on a manic tirade, making several scathing remarks about the religion and its followers while labeling himself a "god":

"F**k you and f**k Muslims. F**king r****g little kids. F**k all you motherf*****s bro. You guys are weird as f**k. F**k all you Muslim a** f*****g weird a** f*****s. Guess what, I'll never be touched because I'm a god."

Reacting to Garcia's comments, Shields took to X, asking people not to hold the boxer accountable for his words:

"People need to realize Ryan Garcia is in the middle of a manic episode. It's not fair to hold him to anything he says during these episodes."

'KingRy's' mental health has been a point of contentious debate in the fighting community for a few months.

His questionable online ramblings in the lead-up to his fight against Devin Haney already had boxing fans concerned. But things have only worsened since then.

Garcia was taken into police custody last month for felony vandalism at the luxury hotel, Waldorf Astoria in Beverley Hills. More recently, he made several racially charged remarks.

Sure enough, his latest string of hate speeches has landed the fighter in grave consequences.

WBC expels Ryan Garcia following racially provocative rant

If his one-year suspension from boxing wasn't bad enough, Ryan Garcia has now put his career in further jeopardy following a racially charged rant.

During a recent live session on Clubhouse, 'KingRy' indulged in blatant hate speech, saying:

"I hate n*****s, I am anti-black... I'm KKKK... Hey let's go bring George Floyd back to life and go kill that n****r again."

His deeply disturbing comments have brought the boxing community's ire upon himself and he has now been expelled from the WBC. The licensing body's president announced the news yesterday via X.
