UFC veteran reacts to Uriah Hall threatening a TikToker over 'mumble' prank: "Homie a real one!"

A former UFC title challenger has reacted to Uriah Hall's recent interview with a TikToker. After a video of Hall went viral on TikTok from his boxing match in July, Kelvin Gastelum replied in support of his former opponent.

Hall and Gastelum fought each other in 'The Ultimate Fighter 17' finale but still have each others' backs in 2024. The video was a prank filmed by a TikToker known as Easton Simpson, who intentionally mumbled while pretending to interview 'Prime Time,' upsetting the UFC veteran. As Hall grew frustrated with Simpson, the 40-year-old warned him against filming such TikTok videos with fighters, saying he could "kill" him.

Gastelum reacted to the clip, calling Hall a "real one," tweeting:

"Homie a real one!"

Gastelum's win over Hall in 2013 still stands as one of the biggest upsets in the history of 'The Ultimate Fighter' with Hall looked at as the favorite throughout the show and Gastelum being selected with the final pick. Both middleweights were members of Team Sonnen, training with each other a fair amount on the show.

Simpson's TikTok page is full of similar videos, including ones in which he mumbles to Jake Paul, Mike Perry, and Ariel Helwani. None of the other subjects he spoke to got as upset as Hall, though all were visibly frustrated, except for Perry.

Uriah Hall's fight with Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.

The video from Easton Simpson was filmed before Uriah Hall's fight with Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. on the undercard of Jake Paul vs. Mike Perry. The fight was Hall's second of his post-UFC boxing career after he previously defeated former NFL running back Le'Veon Bell in 2022.

Hall lost the lackluster six-round fight by unanimous decision, dropping his professional boxing record to 1-1. Fans and media highly criticized the fight for its lack of action.

With both of his fights with Most Valuable Promotions, Hall has been pushing for a fight with Paul since he retired from MMA in 2022. The loss likely permanently removed him from that conversation.
