UFC veteran wants in on Jake Paul's million-dollar sparring challenge

YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul has overcome every opponent in his way, including mixed martial arts legends Anderson Silva and Tyron Woodley.

His unprecedented success has attracted a lot of detractors who allege that his fights are rigged. Paul recently responded to UFC lightweight Paddy Pimblett's accusations that his fight against Silva was fixed.

In response, Paul issued Pimblett a sparring challenge and promised to pay him a million dollars if he won. However, if 'The Baddy' loses, he would have to join Paul's newly established union for professional fighters, the United Fighters Association, and help him sign up British fighters.

UFC veteran welterweight Matt Brown quoted Paul's tweet and asked if the challenge was open to him too:

"Can I get in on this deal @jakepaul [man shrugging emoji]"

Brown has lost three of his last four fights and is unlikely to receive a response from Paul.

In an extended video uploaded with his tweet, Paul expressed his disappointment at Pimblett's comments:

"Ah, poor Paddy Pimblett, man. I was really wanting to like you. But then you come out and you say my fight against Anderson Silva was rigged. I'm sick and tired of this narrative. You're disrespecting the own GOAT of your own sport. You're saying that Anderson Silva is a criminal, you're saying he's a fraud."

'The Problem Child' then proceeded to detail his challenge to Paddy Pimblett:

"But I have a proposition for you, since you wouldn't rig a fight, right? Let's spar. Fly to Puerto Rico, I'll get you a private jet. We can do five three-minute rounds, boxing. If you win, I'll give you a million dollars, which is what you deserve to get paid. But if I win, you have to join the United Fighters Association and help me sign up all the fighters in the UK."

Dear Paddy Pimblett, you claim my fights are rigged? Stop calling the GOAT Anderson Silva a criminal and come spar me.

You win, I give you $1 million. I win, you join the UFA. https://t.co/jOFqcPdjnz

Jake Paul issues boxing challenge to Nate Diaz

Nate Diaz's agent recently confirmed to media outlets that his client has been released from his UFC contract and will be testing free agency in the days to come.

Diaz would be a great signing for many promotions and would be a blockbuster addition to the booming world of celebrity boxing. Jake Paul made sure to be the first one to call Diaz out.

Paul tweeted at the former UFC fighter:

"Hi Nate. Finally out of your UFC contract? Let’s see how tough you are in the boxing ring instead of hallway slap contests.@NateDiaz209 I have a venue booked. Offer is ready when you are. Just need you to sign."

Diaz himself has previously expressed interest in a matchup against Jake Paul and with no contractual bindings, he may finally consider pursuing the fight.
