Veteran fighter cut by the UFC wants to 'beat the f***' out of Israel Adesanya if ever re-signed

Israel Adesanya has been called out by a veteran fighter who was cut by the UFC in 2021.

Over the years, Adesanya has cemented himself as one of the greatest middleweight fighters of all time. Interestingly, 'The Last Stylebender' was recently called out by former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley.

During a recent appearance on the JAXXON Podcast, Tyron Woodley was asked if he is looking to return to the UFC. Replying to the question, 'T-Wood' revealed that the only person who would make him excited to return to the UFC would be Israel Adesanya.

While claiming to not like the former UFC middleweight champion, Tyron Woodley said:

"The only person I would just want to beat the fu*k out of is Israel Adesanya. I don't like him. No, because he cap, because he was never Israel Adesanya."

Tyron Woodley was released from the UFC back in 2021 after suffering four consecutive losses. His last fight in the promotion came against Vincente Luque on March 27, 2021, and he lost the fight via 1st round submission,

Since then, Woodley has fought Jake Paul twice inside the squared and he suffered the same fate. 'T-Wood' lost his first fight against Paul via a split decision, while he lost their rematch via an emphatic KO.

Israel Adesanya makes bold claims about what championship belts mean to him

'The Last Stylebender' suffered an upset loss at the hands of Sean Strickland at UFC 293 earlier this month. It is worth noting that it was his second loss in his last three fights. Despite losing his championship belt, Adesanya is seemingly nonchalant.

Speaking about losing the belt to Sean Strickland during a recently uploaded video on his YouTube channel, the former middleweight champion claimed that belts never really mattered to him. He said:

"The belts never mattered to me. I mean it does obviously but like how many times have I said, it's just a fancy tiara that brings more money and this and that...but I've gone to the level that the belt's just a nice accessory. I already got belts, I got many belts. I'm just gonna do it again, just for fun, just for fun."
