Volkan Oezdemir challenges Jamahal Hill for UFC Paris fight: "I’ll put you to sleep"
It appears as though Volkan Oezdemir has his sights set on Jamahal Hill as he recently issued a challenge for the upcoming UFC Paris event. The Fight Night card is scheduled to take place at Accor Arena on Sep. 28, so both fighters would have plenty of time to prepare.
'No Time' and 'Sweet Dreams' are no strangers to one another as they had previously been involved in a social media feud dating back to 2022. The 34-year-old tweeted his reaction to Hill's knockout win over Johnny Walker and noted that he was still skeptical of whether the 'Contender Series' alum was the real deal.
The No.9-ranked light heavyweight recently rekindled his social media feud with the former light heavyweight champion as he issued a challenge for the upcoming UFC Fight Night event in Paris. Oezdemir mentioned that a bout between them is the most logical and believes he will knock 'Sweet Dreams' out. He wrote:
"It's time to do it, Jamahal! I'll put you to sleep in Paris, 'Sweet Dreams' [sleep emoji]"

How did Jamahal Hill react when Volkan Oezdemir stated that he still doubted him?
Jamahal Hill wasn't too pleased when Volkan Oezdemir tweeted that he was still doubtful about his potential at 205 pounds. He came across 'No Time's tweet and clapped back with a response.
Hill took a jibe at Oezdemir's performances at the time and mentioned that it wouldn't be wise for him to pursue a bout against him. He wrote:
"I mean that understandable with the brain damage you took in your last 2 fights! (one against a guy making his debut). My hands will change your life. Think it's a game and fu** around and find out!"
