WATCH: 6-foot-3 phenom Nabil Anane goes sniping in huge upset win over former Lumpinee champ Muangthai
Muay Thai star Nabil Anane had one of his best showings under the bright lights of ONE Championship when he stood toe-to-toe against Muangthai PK Saenchai in a 136-pound catchweight Muay Thai bout in December 2023.
The 6-foot-3 Anane repeatedly tagged the 5-foot-8 'Elbow Zombie' throughout the bout with his long reach while his slick footwork prevented Muangthai from landing most of his offense.
Anane even dropped the former Lumpinee Stadium world champion with a big knee to the body midway through the third round to ultimately secure the unanimous decision win.
Watch the highlights of Anane's masterful outing below as shared by ONE on Instagram.
This superior striking display gave the 20-year-old his second victory in ONE and followed it up with a second-round knockout outing against the hard-hitting Kulabdam Sor Jor Piek Uthai last month.
The Team Mehdi Zatout athlete will look to earn his fourth victory in a row when he takes on the ever-dangerous Felipe Lobo in a bantamweight Muay Thai bout at ONE Fight Night 24 on Friday, August 2.
Felipe Lobo not backing down from Nabil Anane challenge
Nabil Anane's tall frame, combined with his long reach and knockout power, is a recipe for disaster for his opponents, but Felipe Lobo has no plans of shying away from trading blows with the Thai-Algerian youngster.
Speaking with SCMP MMA, the third-ranked ONE bantamweight Muay Thai fighter stated:
"I've never fought tall guys but nothing changes. I'm training to beat everyone in the division."
ONE Fight Night 24 will emanate from the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
The full card will be available live and free to all Prime Video subscribers in the United States and Canada.
