WATCH: A step-by-step breakdown of Jonathan Haggerty's unstoppable flurry that ended Nong-O's legendary reign

Jonathan Haggerty ended the reign of long-time ONE bantamweight king Nong-O Hama in April 2023 at ONE Fight Night 9 with a gigantic first-round knockout upset during their championship clash that went down inside the legendary Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

The reigning two-sport world champion's crowning moment was reposted by ONE Championship on Instagram recently, and they captioned it with:

"DEVASTATING COMBO 😱 Can Jonathan Haggerty deliver another knockout when he takes on Superlek at ONE 168: Denver? @jhaggerty_"

'The General' concluded the fight with a lethal combination of a right elbow, an uppercut, a left hook, a jab, and a right cross straight down the pipe to put the Thai icon out cold down the canvas.

That triumph has made the London native a world champion once again, as Rodtang Jitmuangnon's reign in the flyweight Muay Thai division was shortlived in 2019.

Since that victory over Nong-O, Haggerty sustained his indestructible form by securing the ONE bantamweight kickboxing world title against Fabricio Andrade in November 2023 at ONE Fight Night 16 and successfully defending his Muay Thai championship against Felipe Lobo in February 2024 at ONE Fight Night 19.

Jonathan Haggerty puts his ONE bantamweight world title on the line for the second time at ONE 168: Denver

After fending off the challenge of the 'Demolition Man,' the 27-year-old British superstar will be putting his ONE bantamweight world title on the line against current ONE flyweight kickboxing world champion Superlek Kiatmoo9 in the main event of ONE 168: Denver on September 6 inside the Ball Arena in Colorado.

This upcoming megafight will not only give Haggerty a chance to prove that he's one of the best pound-for-pound pure strikers in the world today but also an opportunity for redemption against 'The Kicking Machine', who handed him a defeat in 2018 at YOKKAO.

ONE 168: Denver will air live from the Ball Arena in U.S. primetime on Sept. 6. Tickets for the event are available on Ticketmaster.
