Watch how Adriano Moraes shocked the world in first meeting with Demetrious Johnson

Coming into the bout, Adriano Moraes was already a multi-time ONE flyweight world champion while Demetrious Johnson was widely recognized as one of the greatest fighters in MMA history. In a fight where nearly every fan, fighter, and analyst saw him as the underdog, Moraes proved his doubters wrong in the most surprising way possible. Although mostly known for his BJJ skills, 'Mikinho' finished Johnson on the feet.

Ahead of his trilogy bout with 'Mighty Mouse' at ONE Fight Night 10, ONE Championship documented Adriano Moraes' shocking win two years ago:

"Where were YOU when Adriano Moraes shocked the world in 2021? 🤯 "Mikinho" aims to repeat the feat when he takes on Demetrious Johnson in their ONE Flyweight World Title trilogy bout at ONE Fight Night 10 on Prime Video! @moraesadrianomma"

The two met again a year later at ONE on Prime Video 1 where, in a poetic turn of events, Demetrious Johnson avenged his KO loss in nearly identical fashion. Similar to how Moraes finished him in the first bout, DJ sent his Brazilian foe to the shadow realms via a flying knee KO. He also won the ONE flyweight world title in the process.

Now, nearly two years after they first met, Adriano Moraes and Demetrious Johnson will settle the score in a rubber match at ONE Fight Night 10. The May 5 event will be the first live on-ground event ONE will produce on US soil, which will be held at the 1stBank Center in Denver, Colorado.

With one knockout apiece, the pair of legends will put everything on the line to produce yet another unforgettable moment in MMA history. ONE Fight Night 10 is available live and for free to all Prime Video subscribers in North America.
