Akbar Abdullaev made a statement on his ONE Championship debut that immediately put him on the map as a force to be reckoned with.
The featherweight fighter came into the promotion with some hype around him based on his undefeated record and 100 percent finishing rate. So far, Abullaev has backed this up with back-to-back wins in ONE where neither opponent has been able to make it out of the very first minute.
He debuted at ONE Fight Night 8 in May of last year where he took on Oh Ho Taek, another fighter in this division with lots of potential.
Akbar Abdullaev made quick work of his opponent in this fight, landing a shot that hurt him before pouring on the pressure and follow-up strikes to force the referee to step in. It was a win that showed just how dangerous he can be, sending a message to the rest of the division in the process.

Akbar Abdullaev is set to return at ONE Fight Night 22 where he will try to improve his winning streak to three in a row.
