Watch: Alex Pereira brings the heat with hilarious dance in Mexico City streets
ŸAlex Pereira gave a break to his stoicism and enjoyed a moment of frolic in the streets of Mexico City. The Brazilian UFC champ brought out his lesser-known side with a few steps of his chucklesome dance.
Pereira's last in-octagon encounter at UFC 307 added another star to his already shining UFC resume. 'Poatan' earned his third title defense of the year with a TKO victory over Khalil Rountree Jr.
'The War Horse's' powerful striking posed a few threats to Pereira in the initial rounds of the fight. But Rountree's gas tank depleted drastically as the fight went on. Pereira went on to end the fight with a barrage of strikes in the fourth round, adding another TKO victory to his record.
Pereira's incredible run in the UFC has induced a sense of livelihood in him. A recent tweet from @HappyPunch showcased the two-weight division champion enjoying a few steps of his sluggish dance on the streets of Mexico City alongside his coach, Plinio Cruz.
"Alex Pereira in Mexico City last night 😂"
It's quite common to notice people wearing masks in Mexico City, as it is a part of their tradition. However, Pereira's mask served more than one purpose. Apart from celebrating the Mexican culture, it also hid his identity, which could have caused people to accumulate around him.
